SAGE Electrochromic Glazing

This research project was a collaboration between the High-Performance Environments Lab (HiPE) at the University of Oregon and SAGE Electrochromic Glazing. I served as the research assistant of Dr. Ihab Elzeyadi, founder and director of the High-Performance Environments Lab (HiPE). This study aimed to assess and compare the Indoor Environmental Qualities of a state-of-the-art LEED Platinum building with the world’s largest deployment of SAGE Electrochromic Glazing on Two facades. Tasks included a comparative analysis of occupants’ comfort and satisfaction between normal glazing and dynamic facades technology. The study developed commissioning recommendations to improve the performance and comfort of the dynamic electrochromic facades.
